Inflatable Object Design and Fabrication

Through our work in inflatable objects for wind power applications, and with our collaboration with MIT and Harvard on DARPA’s programmable matter program we have developed novel algorithms and assembly techniques for producing inflatable objects of any shape and size for light weight, material and energy efficient structures.  Our test objects for our code have mostly been “toy” objects, dinosaurs and elephants.  These whimsies are analogous to the test objects in 3D animation and rendering, the tea pots and Stanford bunny – we are using them to test our algorithms and construction detailing.

The more serious projects we have been applying this technology to are wind-power generation, safety equipment, automotive, and home insulation.   Contact us for more information.
